The Society is pleased to announce the schedule for the 2023 Wigwam, at the historic Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston on 22 July 2023. The event will be held from 5pm-8pm in the Hotel’s Pinckney Room.
5pm–Welcome and Business Meeting: Welcome by Society president Sean Busick. Dr. Busick will pass the presidency off to Dr. Jeff Rogers. Dr. Rogers will lead the Society business meeting.
6pm–Supper: Following the business meeting, we will have a plated dinner provided by the Francis Marion. Society officers are meeting with hotel staff to select options in the next few days. We ask that any registered attendees contact Secretary-Treasurer Matthew Simmons with any dietary needs/restrictions.
7pm–Keynote: As we finish our meals, we will introduce our keynote speaker, Dr. Adam Tate, who will provide us with an approximately 30-minute keynote address. Q&A time will follow. The keynote will be video recorded and posted to the Society website for the interest of all members.
8pm–Social Hour: At 8pm, we will leave the Pinckney Room and proceed to the hotel bar, where we will enjoy one another’s company.
