The Simms Review is an official publication of the Simms Society. In addition to publishing articles, notes and manuscript copies related to Simms’s life and writings, the Review serves as the official publication of record for the Society.
The Simms Review solicits short articles, notes, and queries on any subject pertaining to the life and writings of William Gilmore Simms. 1,500 words is a suggested limit for articles. The Simms Review also welcomes announcements of events and publications related to Simms’s life and works or any other newsworthy activity concerning Simms Scholarship. A return self-addressed envelope is required for all manuscripts. Emailed submissions should be in Microsoft Word .docx format.

The Simms Review is published yearly at a subscription rate of $25 a year, and is is free to dues-paid members of the Simms Society.

Back issues or additional copies are available at $8 per copy; email Dr. Hagstette for availability of back issues. All issues from the first twenty-one years of the Review (1993-2014) are also freely available on the Simms Initiatives website.
